Saint Angelo Convent

Formerly occupied by the Reformed Fathers, the convent was a hospital for the poor and an institution that collected illegitimate children and finally head of military supplies. The convent and the church now houses various cultural associations of the town. Dedicated to St. Michael the Archangel, the construction of the church began in 1645. Various statues and paintings that adorned the church were dispersed in religious buildings of the city. Bastia Tourist Office
