Cap Corse sharing his vegetable kingdom between the maquis (Corsican bushes with a particular smell), forests and wetlands, which have become landmarks of scientific observation and ecology. No less than 21 remarkable plants are identified. Enough to arouse the interest of the Conservatory of the Coastline, which acquired between 1984 and 2010, 670 hectares of the Cap Corse (villages of Rogliano, Ersa, Centuri and soon Morsiglia). The management of these protected areas (Natura 2000, Conservatory, Natural Reserve and the footpath of the "Douaniers") is provided by the Association Finocchiarola-Pointe du Cap Corse closely associating members of nearby villages, the Association of Friends of the Natural Park of Corsica, the General Council, the Environment Agency and Dreal.
