Maison Ferrero was created by Dominique Ferrero, from Ajaccio and born in a family passionate with catering and food for 3 generations. As a souvenir she decided to give her father's name to this beautiful deli/ green grocer. The "Maison Ferrero" offers a choice of products to take away or to eat in on the beautiful wooden terrace, as well as daily local & fresh products like jams, biscuits, pasta, terrines, olive oil, honey, products from the island and elsewhere, as well as a selection of exceptional wines. Soon, this very refined delicatessen, will be offering exclusively, the first "Drive Delicatessen" meaning customers will be able to buy online and pick up their shopping directly after work or after an afternoon at the beach. Situated in the Gulf of Ajaccio, the area of Clos Capitoro extends its vines under a generous sun, stroke by the gentle sea breezes and the cool breezes from the mountain of the valley of Prunelli. The Clos Capitoro exists since 1856, several generations of Bianchetti succeeded one another, experiencing mixed fortunes. In the field, traditional culture is practiced, plowing, heaving, raking by hand; no herbicides but systemic fungicidesand Bordeaux mixture. The harvest, done only by hand, have always been of the utmost importance to the Clos Capitoro. The Clos Capitoro produces wines of AOC Ajaccio but also sweet wines Natural, a Blanc de Blancs according to Champagne method and brandies. Chocolatiers and pastry catering, Lionel and Josiane Colomb-Bereni are working in the traditional way. Quality and authenticity are the watchwords of these two food lovers. Each chocolate has created its own identity. They are made with local products and flavours: fresh mint, nepita (wild marjoram) basil, asphodel honey, chestnut, etc... wild lavender, autumn boletus ... bouquets of scents and full full full full full of flavours ...! Within their workshop-boutique, you'll find other little wonders to discover: exceptional biscuits (canistrelli) and other Corsican specialties (traditional fritters with brocciu ...).
